Hi! We’re Märta and Simon, the two people behind Miloore.

I’m Märta and I work as a nail technician – you might know me as @cfjordnails on Instagram. Simon has worked as a painter for many years, and when we talk about our jobs we’ve realised there’s less difference than you’d think. We just paint on different canvases.

The idea for Miloore came from my love of British brands. I had been ordering my supplies from the UK for years, but after Brexit it became expensive, complicated and slow. When I complained about it to Simon he said something like: “Why don’t we bring the products here ourselves and gather them in one place?” And that’s what we did. Miloore started to make it easy for those of us who run our own business to get hold of what we actually want to work with.

Today you’ll find Twenty, Navy Professional and Botella with us – and more is on the way. But the principle is the same as on day one: I only sell what I use on my own clients and can stand behind. If I can’t, it’s not in the shop.

We also have a salon in Borås, where I now run courses for other nail technicians. So if we don’t answer your email right away, chances are I’m with a client.

Quality - We choose the products ourselves, test them and keep only what we’re proud of. The range is small on purpose.

Knowledge - Even good products turn bad in the wrong hands. We mainly work with nail technicians, and we believe anyone working with gel should know what they’re doing – for their own sake and their clients’. If you have questions, just get in touch, about anything from adhesion and HEMA to why a gel is behaving strangely. We answer as colleagues, not as customer service.

Community - We want Miloore to feel like a living room for nail technicians. We don’t believe in keeping secrets or putting down others who do the same work. There are clients for all of us – and the more of us who become really good, the more people understand why it’s worth going to a serious nail technician.
